We had a GREAT week in Houston, here is a montage of pics that I put together. We spent the week with my grandmother, cousin's Angel & Scott, Angel's husband Matt and their kids Blake and Bryce.
Aub really bonded with Blake, they had a great time and she wanted to be wherever Blake was...it was very sweet and he was so sweet to her and the babies. The kids just had a blast!!
I wish everyone lived closer to us...Angel is one of my best friends and I wish we got to spend more time together!!
On Tuesday my grandmother needed to run by a feed store down from her house and we got to play with some of the animals that they had there, baby goats and ducks...which worked out nice because we were supposed to go to a big farm that day and as we were pulling into the farm it started thundering and lightening and then pouring. We decided to go to the mall instead, Aub was very upset so I had to bribe her with Build A Bear, in which she stuffed a "sunburst" cat...so the day ended up ok!!
On Wednesday we went to Kemah, Texas, if you are ever going down that way stop by Kemah, it's so much fun, the town is on the water, so cool. They have a boardwalk there with rides, games, shopping and restraunts. We spent the entire afternoon there then met my Aunt, her fiance & some friends for dinner for my aunt's birthday. It was such an awesome day, no rain (pretty hot thought) but well worth the day!
On Thursday we were going to go swimming, we got to swim for about 20 minutes and yet more storms came along...it's typical down there this time of the year!! So we ended up hanging out at my cousins, which turned out really well because everyone got to rest that day. I was just glad that our day in Kemah wasn't ruined because that was our main thing that we had planned!!
We had so much fun and we miss everyone already!!
